KOM-M.NRW can be considered as the main entity in NRW for bundling competences and knowledge from science, municipalities, and economy. Its activities are conducted with the cooperation of LANUV (North Rhine-Westphalian State Office for the Protection of Nature, the Environment and Consumers), DWA NRW and BWK NRW.

National und international cooperation

For national and international cooperation, KOM-M.NRW closely collaborates with the International Commission for the Protection of the Rhine, the competence centre for micropollutants in the federal state of Baden-Württemberg in Germany (KomS) and the VSA-platform „Verfahrenstechnik Mikroverunreinigungen” in Switzerland.
